The CENTER is a coalition-led hub for child and youth creativity, education, and engagement.

Power to the Youth Party JUNE 14th!

A community celebration with free food, youth performers, and fun activities for all ages!

 The CENTER is hosting its first annual party, Power to the Youth, Friday, June 14th, 5-8PM. This event is a chance for the CENTER, the coalition members, and other youth-oriented organizations to honor their youth leaders, network, and have fun over music and food.

We will also have guest speakers including recently nominated PPS Board member Michelle DePass and recently nominated David Douglas Board member Sahar Muranovic. 

 This community celebration is organized in collaboration with Black United Fund of Oregon, Catlin Gabel School, De La Salle North Catholic School, KairosPDX, Latino Network, and Urban League of Portland

There will be non-profit organizations offering opportunities for youth in our city and a showcase of youth-produced music in partnership with Friends of Noise, visual art, poetry, free food and more
