DO YOU LOVE DESIGN, CITIES AND SOCIAL JUSTICE? ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HOW YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS CHANGING? DO YOU WANT TO LEARN ABOUT BOTH WHILE EARNING A SMALL STIPEND?
The LIFE Series: A Partnership with Urban League of Portland

The Urban League of Portland and The C.E.N.T.E.R. are enrolling Black and Brown high school youth to The L.I.F.E. Series. A weekly workshop series that focuses on leadership, identity, the future, and empowerment.
Youth will receive a paid stipend for engaging and completing workshops in addition to a free meal. Workshops start on January 10th from 4:00-6:00 pm and will run every Thursday until May 30th.
Once enrolled, youth are able to take advantage of tutoring, advocacy/mentorship, and have the potential to attend professional development opportunities both in and out of state. Free Tutoring Tuesdays!
open tuesdays 4:00-5:30. This is ongoing during the school year.
We offer free tutoring to all children and youth who would like extra help with homework and/or writing.
